Two teachers who used to be romantically involved were arrested after a fight at a school in Miami-Dade, authorities said.

Odiria Shaya Biggins, 36, was arrested Monday on charges of battery and discharging a weapon on school property, Miami-Dade jail records showed.

Her ex-boyfriend, Terrod Torrence, also 36, was arrested Tuesday on a battery – domestic violence charge, records showed.

Arrest reports said Biggins and Torrence are teachers but the name of the school where the incident happened was redacted.

According to the report, Biggins was involved in a physical altercation in a classroom with Torrence, who she shares a child with.

At one point, Biggins left, went to her car, armed herself with pepper spray then returned to the school and sprayed him, the report said.

Surveillance video showed her entering the classroom before both of them are seen leaving, with Torrence “struggling to walk and visibly suffering from irritation to his eye,” the report said.

School personnel responded to assist Torrence and take him to the hospital.

Biggins later told police Torrence had left a note on her desk requesting to speak with her and when they met in the classroom they got into a verbal altercation that escalated to a physical confrontation, the report said.

She said Torrence punched her multiple times on the side of her head and pushed her against a wall, causing her to lose consciousness, the report said.

Biggins was booked into jail and appeared before a judge on Tuesday, where it was learned the victim works at the same school.

The judge gave Biggins pre-trial release with an alternate bond of $2,000.

Torrence was also booked into jail.
