A Miami woman was arrested after she stabbed her friend with scissors during an argument over drinking beer in a rideshare vehicle, authorities said.

Lynn Marie Zamora, 32, was arrested Monday on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, Miami-Dade jail records showed.

According to an arrest report, a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputy responded to the area of Southwest 137th Avenue and Southwest 74th Street and met the victim, who said Zamora had requested an Uber ride to take them to a friend’s house.

He said during the ride, Zamora became irritated because she wanted to drink beer in the car, and he told her several times she couldn’t drink in the vehicle, the report said.

During the argument, he said Zamora pulled scissors out of her bag and stabbed him multiple times, the report said.

He was taken to an emergency room and received treatment for stab wounds to his bicep and calf.

The Uber driver confirmed what had happened and Zamora was arrested and booked into jail, the report said.

“This behavior is alarming and has no place on the Uber platform. We banned the rider from the app and stand ready to assist law enforcement with their investigation,” an Uber spokesperson said in a statement Tuesday.

Zamora appeared before a judge on Tuesday, where it was learned she’s out on probation in a separate case involving a charge of battery on a person 65 or older.

A defense attorney asked that she be allowed to receive hospital treatment but the prosecutor asked for a monetary bond, claiming Zamora is a flight risk with a criminal record.

“She is an extremely dangerous individual, I see multiple convictions for battery on an elderly, battery on law enforcement, written threats to kill,” the prosecutor said.

The judge set her bond at $7,500.
