Primary elections are within a few weeks, and if voters are too busy to hit the polls, the Miami-Dade Supervisor of Elections announced early voting dates for those who want to submit their ballots ahead of time.

Primary election day will be held on Aug. 18.

Starting on Aug. 3, early voting will start bright and early at 7 a.m. Polls will be open until 3 p.m. on Aug. 7.

Then that weekend, on Aug. 8 and 9, polling locations will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Between Monday, Aug. 10, and Friday, Aug. 14, people will have the opportunity to vote early from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The last chance for early voting will be the weekend of Aug. 15 and 16, when people can cast their ballots between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.
