A man was arrested for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old boy after offering him marijuana in exchange for filming a video for social media in North Miami, police said.
Tyre Dontrell Hudson, 26, was arrested Monday on charges including lewd and lascivious molestation on a child 12-16 years old and attempted lewd and lascivious conduct on a child under 16, an arrest report said.
According to the report, Hudson was driving a 2020 Nissan Kick when he approached the 15-year-old victim who was walking eastbound in the 700 block of Northeast 137th Street.
The teen said Hudson asked him if he smokes marijuana and offered to sell him some, then offered him a ride which the teen accepted, the report said.
Hudson, the teen said, drove to the back of North Miami Senior High School and told the teen if he would film a video clip for social media Hudson would give him $20 worth of marijuana, the report said.
The teen said they went into a bathroom and Hudson asked him to lower his pants then pulled down his undershorts, exposing the teen’s backside before Hudson started fondling him, the report said.
Hudson, who was recording the incident with his phone, lowered his own pants and started tapping himself against the teen, who started to punch Hudson in the face, the report said
Hudson tried to flee and a witness saw the teen fighting with him as the teen was screaming “this man was just trying to rape me!” the report said.
The witness helped the teen detain Hudson until police arrived and arrested Hudson.
Hudson was booked into jail and on Tuesday appeared before a judge, who set his bond at $12,500 plus a GPS monitor if he posts the bond.
