Two suspects were taken into custody after a stolen car chase ended in a PIT maneuver and rollover crash in Miami-Dade on Sunday, authorities said.

The incident began shortly before 4 p.m. when troopers responded to the area of Interstate 95 and Northwest 79th Street to search for a stolen vehicle, Florida Highway Patrol officials said.

Troopers found the stolen Honda sedan and attempted a traffic stop the suspects fled, officials said.

A brief pursuit ensued and ended when troopers used a PIT maneuver on Northwest 7th Avenue near Little River Drive.

The fleeing vehicle rolled over and the driver and passenger were taken into custody, officials said.

Authorities haven’t released the identities of the suspects or said what charges they may face.
