Miami Hurricanes running back Jordan Lyle was arrested on multiple charges in Broward on Thursday, jail records showed.

Lyle, 20, was arrested on charges of aggravated fleeing and eluding at a high speed and reckless driving, Broward jail records showed.

Officials with the Broward State Attorney’s Office said he was arrested on a Sunrise Police warrant and released on $55,000 bond.

No other details about the arrest were immediately available.

“We are aware of an incident involving student-athlete Jordan Lyle,” UM’s Athletics Department said in a statement Friday. “As due legal process runs its course, we will have no further comment at this time.”

Lyle, a junior, is from Fort Lauderdale and attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School before UM.

He played in six games last season with two starts, rushing for 108 yards and one touchdown.
